Two Doral, Florida, police officers were injured and a suspect was killed following a shooting outside a police station early on Monday.
The incident took place around 12:30 a.m. outside Doral’s Department of Safety headquarters. According to CNN, the officers had responded to a 911 call about someone who was shooting at a man near the station. As the officers arrived on the scene, they were attacked by the man, who had apparently been involved in a dispute with the man who had called 911. At the time of the shooting, it was not clear whether the man had fired at the officers or if they were hit by stray bullets.
Two Doral, FL police officers were shot early Monday, and one is in grave condition.

The officers’ names have not been released. The suspect has been identified as Moises Duenas, 41, of Doral. He was shot multiple times by police, and was pronounced dead shortly after they arrived on the scene.
No additional suspects were found at the scene. “Information regarding this investigation revealed that the suspect intended to shoot at someone,” said a statement released by Miami-Dade police. No information about Duenas’ motive for the attack was provided.
