Story highlights Equinox Golf partnered with Team Jessica Korda, an international professional mixed tour competing against five other nations around the world.
Jessica Korda is the first ever American female golfer to win the annual Aramco Ladies European Tour event, which draws teams from Europe, China, Japan, the UAE and South Africa.
The event, which is also sponsored by Chevron, is the first ladies European Tour event held in the United States.
Team Jessica Korda won the Aramco Team Series and claimed the prize for the best mixed team of the tournament.
Team Jessica Korda achieved this victory at the 2018 Aramco Team Series.
Team Jessica Korda competed against five other national teams, and took home the title thanks to a total of four wins.
Team Jessica Korda consists of US professional golfers Sam Eberl, Jillian Kerr, Shanshan Feng, Alena Sharp and Jessica Korda, an American professional golfer.
On the women’s European Tour, Korda has a total of four career wins, including the 2016 British Open and 2013 US Women’s Open.
The team is well-known for its “soul sesh” held at each tournament and that is still being organized.
The team was also one of the first female-led teams to take part in the Aramco Team Series back in 2009.
Korda founded the team as a women’s-only tour in 2011.
The event and season follows the men’s version of the event, the Chevron International Series.
The women are grouped into five teams that compete against each other to earn their way into the elite teams.
