The Times podcast: Coyotes go urban; humans freak out about the suburbs
It’s time to bring you my monthly audio diary of my daily life in the universe of The Times — not the newsroom, the universe. I’m talking about the world outside the newsroom, the city side of The Times.
Today’s episode is about the Coyotes taking their downtown expansion plans a step further. It’s the first of three episodes on the Coyotes and what they’ve done with their expansion, one that they’re hoping will be popular and successful, and one that has raised some eyebrows and caused a lot of fear. I also talk about a couple of new businesses and the reaction to their expansion. I’ll take a look at those too.
The podcast is in a 30-minute clip form, with a 15-minute intro before the news is delivered. If you don’t want to get the full episode, don’t feel like reading it, but that’s fine. You can just listen, or follow along with the transcript below.
