Vin Diesel, who appeared alongside Paul Walker in the Fast and Furious franchise, escorted Walker’s daughter Meadow down the aisle at her wedding on Friday. A darling Dior bride in a cream-colored lace gown, the bride, who was marrying Matt Rodricks, previously stated that she hoped to “make my dad proud.”
This is not the first time Diesel has remembered Walker on his big day; in March, the actor posted a tribute to his late friend on his Instagram story, along with a photo from the Fast and Furious seventh film, which Walker starred in. He called Walker a “father figure, friend, and brother” who “loved the world more than anything in it.”
Back in 2017, Diesel insisted that the two would be reunited in the Fast and Furious 8 and nine, despite Walker’s tragic death on Nov. 30, 2013. “Paul is very, very present in the movies in ways that you cannot even see or feel unless you come to the movies and be a part of it,” Diesel said. “He’s with us in spirit in every one of the movies. And yes, we had meetings about [the] script for the ninth, tenth, eleventh.”
