One Last Public Party at the Jane Hotel
The first half of the week flew by like a speeding bullet leaving me with many more than one more public party to attend:
It was the only party Wednesday in addition to the ones at the Jane Hotel, the hotel where I usually host my Friday lunches. This time it was Wednesday, and this time was on my half-term holiday. I went to a friend’s place and then on to my mother-in-law’s. I had had a bit of a problem with my own health recently which meant that I felt a bit on the weak side but still got out and about every day.
I was delighted to go to a party. My mother-in-law and her husband were there and I think two or three friends of theirs, one of whom works at the Jane Hotel. We had a good, relaxed, relaxed time together. We ate some snacks, played card games and had a couple of glasses of wine. That is a lot to put up with, so it was a good occasion.
After that I went to my mother-in-law’s daughter’s birthday party. That was also great fun because my mother-in-law’s daughter had asked me to come. I think she was surprised at how well I was getting on.
It was about 11.30 at night when I got back to the Jane Hotel. By the time I got there at 5 o’clock, I was thinking how it had been a good party and a well-balanced week, but not a whole lot had happened.
It took a bit of fiddling with my phone until I could get the camera on camera mode that actually had time limitations. And then the last part was easy.
This is the last picture of this happy family. You can see them in the background sitting at one of their other tables. This was my little table.
The only other picture I can find are of my mother-in-law and her husband at a food show that I went to when I was in Italy, and it’s too blurry
